Martine goes to Zimbabwe with her grandmother and best friend, Ben, to help a friend who is being threatened by animal poachers. While enjoying the beautiful surroundings, Martine and Ben are also trying to save the large, elusive leopard that will help fortune hunters find their treasure…after they destroy it. Sweet story that young chapter-book readers will very much enjoy. I will have to go back and read the previous books in the series.
