Filled with vibrant collage artwork and an infectious linguistic rhythm, Farmyard Beat would make a phenomenal story-time read-aloud activity for young children. However, as a potential elementary school library check-out the title doesn’t have that much to offer readers. Worth purchasing if you need a great book/activity to share with preschoolers, but don’t bother with it if you are just going to put it on the school library shelf.
