Minion

minionCompanion Novel to Sidekicked

Written by John David Anderson

Minion, by John David Anderson, is a lively and fun book about a teenage boy, Michael Morn, who was adopted by a brilliant criminal mastermind and inventor. Michael discovers, at an early age, that he has the ability to manipulate the thoughts of others and suggest that they do what he wants them to do. He and his adoptive dad use this ability, along with his dad’s amazing but criminal inventions, to steal what they need to get by.  Their (relatively) routine life is disrupted suddenly by the arrival of a new superhero, whose spectacular battles with a new supervillain cause Michael to question his sense of right and wrong.

I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of superheroes/villains. The traditions that we are used to with the superhero genre get tweaked in a fun way.
