Please, Mr. Panda

pleasemrpandaBy Steve Antony

Kylie said that Mr. Panda is very sad that he can’t find any of his friends with good manners to give his donuts to. This is a great book to teach kids to use “please” and “may I” and “thank you.” I think she is right on the mark. With a minimal amount of words, Steve Antony has written the perfect book for very young readers to learn and reinforce this concept. The illustrations are brilliant and colorful on a stark grey background that makes them really stand out on the page— perfect for parent and child sharing as they engage both. This book opens up channels for conversation about manners and how important they are at any age. Will Mr. Panda find a friend to take his donuts? Read Please, Mr. Panda and find out.

Sign me up! I have “I’ll Wait, Mr. Panda” and it is adorable. This would be such a fun companion book that the students will love as much as the other. And it teaches good manners to boot! Thanks for the review.
