Scholastic 2015 Book of World Records

Scholastic 2015 Book of World RecordsWritten by Jenifer Corr Morse

Interesting lists, charts, blurbs and colorful pictures about many strange, wonderful, funny or weird man-made records. Some you might be able to guess, or already know such as the Boston Celtics have the most NBA championship titles. Others, such as “State with the Largest Petrified Wood Collection” seem like the authors were trying really hard to include South Dakota and they couldn’t find another way.

Readers will enjoy different features such as the charts and photos. The authors have made the pages easy to read and fun to look at. Readers can flip through, find an interesting picture and read the short piece about that topic. The sides of the pages are different colors for the different sections. The index allows readers to see if their topic of interest is listed. A good book to flip through.
