The Forget-Me-Not Summer

The Forget-Me-Not Summer

Written by Leila Howland

Three sisters get sent from their LA home to live with an aunt they barely know because their mom and dad both get movie jobs for the same three weeks in July. Great family relationships, normal sibling feelings, and some tween drama. Comparable to The Penderwicks.

  1. I bought this book and read it over the summer. It is perfect for a 5th or 6th grade student, especially a girl. I would recommend this book too. Kris Hunt@ Whittier

  2. I’ve read the Penderwicks and love that book. If it is like that book I think it may not be super popular but girls would enjoy it.

  3. This sounds somewhat similiar to another book I read not long ago, but it was terrible. I’ll have to give this one a shot and see if it’s better.
