The 12 Screams of Christmas (Goosebumps Most Wanted, Special Edition #2)

The 12 Screams of ChristmasWritten by R. L. Stine

12 Screams of Christmas is a lot like the other Goosebumps books, but it is also a bit scarier than the other Goosebumps books. Kate Welles really wants to not be special. Her dream is to get the lead part in the school’s Christmas play but her main competition is her “friend” Courtney. Courtney is one of those friends who is not really a friend at all. So the question now is “what is scary about this book?” Well it turns out that Kate is special because she can see ghosts. Others just do not see them and it is getting harder and harder for Kate to pretend that she doesn’t. Now they have to practice for the school play at a certain house with a lot of history. The house is haunted and it most certainly is not the kind of place that Kate can be comfortable in. Now she must deal with Courtney, learning the part for the play, practicing, and all of the things that happen because of the ghosts. This is a fun Goosebumps book, but it is a little more intense than other books in the series. It might be better for the older students.
