Maggie’s memoir is a heart-felt and touching recounting of her growing up and finding that she was a lesbian while at an all girls Christian summer camp. Readers will feel for Maggie as she learns who she is and what she is good at. Her feelings of being an outsider will resonate will all teen girls, regardless of their sexual orientation. The drawings are fun and colorful as they add to the story. This memoir is best suited for high school students as it does deal with sexuality.
