This is a great series that combines Ancient Egyptian Mythology with the modern day world. The characters, Alex and Ren, are smart kids. Their strong friendship helps each other out throughout the story. At the same time, they are typical kids whose conversations and personalities are such that readers can identify with. The chapters are short and the action moves quickly to make this book and the others in this series a real page turner. I really like Tombquest and look forward to the final book that comes out soon, to read what I hope is an exciting conclusion.
