Isaac and His Amazing Asperger Superpowers!

Isaac and His Amazing Asperger Superpowers!By Melanie Walsh

Isaac has hearing like a bat, doesn’t like to look at people when he’s talking to them, and sometimes says things he shouldn’t, but he considers himself a superhero. And a superhero he is! In this fun yet informational book about Aspergers, Isaac tells about all of his differences and why he sometimes acts differently than his friends. I think this book is a great introduction to how some people are different, and it’s okay to be different. I’d highly recommend this book to any school or family that has the Autism Spectrum to deal with. If a school is purchasing this for a specific class or student, I’d read it out loud to them at the beginning of the year to introduce why their classmate is doing some things that aren’t considered normal. A well-written, fun, colorful and informative book.
