Unidentified Suburban Object

unidentified-suburban-objectWritten by Mike Jung

This book is for anyone who has ever felt like an outsider, and is searching for their identity. Chloe, the main character, is an authentic voice of a 7th grader who feels incomplete because she has been kept in the dark about her cultural origins. The themes of this book transcend culture, age, and academic ability. The frustration comes at the end when you have to wonder if there will ever be a sequel, or if you’ll be left wondering forever.

  1. The cover caught my interest. Thanks to your review, I think I’ll wait to read it until we find out if there is a sequel. I dread this kind of suspense.
