Happy Dreamer

Written by Peter H. Reynolds

Happy Dreamer celebrates self-expression and the joys of being a dreamer. Although a young boy, sitting at a desk, is told to “sit still” and “be quiet,” his daydreams take him on a colorful, magical and joyous flight into the world of creativity! Peter Reynolds celebrates all kinds of dreamers in this beautifully illustrated book with hand-lettered text. Come explore all the many ways children, young and old, can be happy dreamers and then decide — which one (or maybe even more than one) are you?

This book just made me happy to read. I had to share it with some of my coworkers right away. It also reminded me that some of these “energetic” students of ours might just be dreamers as well.
