Cody and the Mysteries of the Universe

Written by Tricia Springstubb, Illustrated by Eliza Wheeler

Cute story for early chapter book readers. Cody is super excited when her best friend Spencer moves to town and has big plans for the two of them. The reality is a bit different when Spencer starts spending time with Pearl, practicing for the orchestra. To make things even more complicated, Spencer’s new neighbors have declared war on Cody and Spencer. After a few bumps in the road everything works out and everyone learns a few things about patience and friendship.

  2. Friendship books are always to great for kids to read because many of the things that happen in them, happen in real life. This would be a good addition for our library.
