If I Could Drive, Mama

Written by Cari Best, Illustrated by Simone Shin

This is an endearing, cute book about Charlie’s plans for an exceptional day that he shares with mom. After making a car out of a cardboard box they are off on a grand adventure. The trip includes a construction site, a nail salon, and the pool just to name a few places.
The pictures are wonderfully expressive and child captivating.

  1. What a cute book! I put it on hold at the county library and I hope it comes before our Preschool classes leave. This would be great to share with them. Thank you for your review. I might have missed this book otherwise!

  2. What a great imagination! Amazing what you can do with a cardboard box. Some kids are entertained for hours!
