The Princess in Black Takes a Vacation is the fourth in The Princess in Black Series. Princess Magnolia is in need of a a vacation from her tough role as Princess in Black. Just as she lays on her bed for a much needed rest her alarm goes off. Back into her disguise and off she goes to put a monster back in its place. The story takes on some new twists when a new comrade shows up, The Goat Avenger. Together the two divide and conquer. Princess Magnolia also makes a new royal friend, Princess Sneezewort. This book is full of colorful illustrations, the reading level is right on for its intended interest level, and has humor that will appeal to all.

    I cannot keep these books on the shelf! The second they get checked in, they go right back out. I love that the boys aren’t afraid to pick this one up either.

  6. Our Princess in Black books are always checked out as well. Someone saw me processing this one and it went out immediately. I too, have had some boys check these out as well.

  7. This is a very popular series with our younger sister students. Many of our older students love the Goose Girl and Princess Academy series by the same author. It is great having something for all ages.
