Children can most definitely relate to the book Confiscated! If they don’t understand the definition of the word, they will by the time this book is through. The two main characters are brothers Brook and Mikey, who fight over everything. That is, until their mother begins locking their toys in the closet. When they no longer have anything to play with or fight over, they learn to get along. They learn to get along so well, in fact, that they devise a plan to get their toys back. This is a quick read with an excellent message. The illustrations are silly, and brightly colored. An engaging story for young readers.
