Stickmen’s Guide to Your Gurgling Guts

Written by John Farndon, Illustrated by Venitia Dean

I picked this book up because it talked about gurgling guts. (My students love gross books.) I was very happily surprised when I read it. I think this is a very well written, tactful book about how our bodies work. Body functions are described in a way that is easy to for the reader to understand and the illustrations are very well done. Even the grossest of bodily functions are described in a way that will interest any child without grossing adults out too much.

  1. Thanks for the review. My kids also love anything to do with guts all that goes with them. Sounds like a good one.
