Amid Stars and Darkness

The Xenith Trilogy, #1

Written by Chani Lynn Feener

This is a story about a young woman who is mistaken for an alien princess, kidnapped, and taken to another planet. When they realize she is not the princess, she is forced to pretend to be the princess until the real princess can be found. There is a lot of action, but there is also romance with a couple of steamy make-out scenes. There is no explicit sex, but the main characters go to bed together near the end. The “f” word is used once. There is some mild swearing throughout the book, but overall, I enjoyed the story. It ends in such a way that there needs to be a sequel. I would recommend this book more for high school age students. It would appeal more to girls than to boys.
