Written and Illustrated by Jon Klassen
I have heard this is the final in Jon Klassen’s Hat Trilogy. I think a part of me died inside upon hearing this. Klassen is one of my favorite children’s authors and this book only verifies my opinion. If you haven’t read I Want My Hat Back and (my personal favorite) This Is Not My Hat, then you definitely need to pamper your inner child. One of the funnest things I have ever done as a children’s librarian was do an impromptu skit of the first book. We loved it and had a blast with it. I can hardly wait to share this book with them.

I agree, Terrie! I did Jon Klassen as one of my Author Studies a few years ago and the kids loved him. Very simple illustrations and storylines but always with a funny twist that gets the kids laughing and thinking. We had some great conversations!
