Think Again

First love can be frustrating, rewarding, humorous, and even inspiring. This collection of poems attempts to capture what first love truly does entail.

A clean, well-done look at first love through the eye of poems. The illustrations are well-done. The poems are cute and some even make you say, “Awe.” Readers who like poems, true love, and love at first sight will enjoy reading this book.

  1. For some reason books in rhyme have become very popular lately. And even though this might seem like a younger readers type of book, I bet the high school kids would like it even more.
I am putting it on our “need to buy” list.

    1. I know they are out there, so it’s good to see they are catching on with high school readers. I know of a few examples of novels in rhyme (Carol Lynch William’s newest book Glimpse pops into my head); maybe I should do a little more research on the topic and do a feature here. What books like this are popular at your school?
