Action! Writing Your Own Play

The author covers 14 tools for writing a play. In a text box, she describes the tool. On the same two-page spread she will show an example of that tool in a script. Some of the tools are Plot, Plan, Cast, and Dialogue. This book is a great resource for teaching students the elements for writing a play. This book is one in a series called Writer’s Toolbox, which also includes books on writing a scary story, writing a graphic novel, and writing a silly story.
