100 Most Awesome Things On The Planet

Prepare to be amazed!

Written by Anna Claybourne

A great alternative to the Guinness Book of World Records, each page of this book is devoted to a wonder of earth and space. The photos are beautiful and the text is written in small chunks — a reader will bounce from one fact to another. Each wonder is rated for its awesomeness (1 smiley face = cool, 5 smiley faces = completely awesome).

The book is divided into two sections — Awesome Natural Wonders (i.e., Mt. Everest, Saturn’s rings) and Awesome Human Creations (i.e. Easter Island, Hubble Space Telescope).

Kids and adults will both love this book, which is part of the “100 Most . . . ” series of books.

(Most vendors offer this book in paperback only, however, bn.com offers a school/library edition.)
