Geek Fantasy Novel

Written by E. Archer

Ralph is a computer genius who loves fantasy and wishes to work for MonoMyth. His parents, however, are strict no-nonsense parents who don’t even want him to discover his family tree. When Ralph finds his family tree banner, he discovers it is filled with magical mishaps. Coincidence? I think not. When Ralph fails to get a job with MonoMyth, he gets an offer from his aunt to come be their tech guy for the summer. His parents refuse to let him go, but he goes anyways. There he meets his cousins who, like him, are forbidden to meet their Aunt Chessie. When he and the three cousins go to meet her, they discover that she’s a fairy godmother whose son’s wish went awry and made him disappear. Each of the four are supposed to be granted a wish much like their missing cousin, but who would want a wish that could go seriously wrong? When Ralph gets tricked into getting his cousins to make their wishes, they suddenly find themselves living a wacky fantasy adventure filled with exploding bunnies, glitter-dropping fairies, and more. Can Ralph and his cousins put the world back the way it was supposed to be?

An absolutely hilarious fantasy novel for avid and reluctant readers alike. The characters are well-developed and entertaining. The plot is well-written and does a great job of intermixing humor, explosions, magic, and adventure. Readers who like fantasy, humor, adventure, and magic will enjoy reading this book.
