Black Ice

Sherlock Holmes: The Legend Begins, Book 3

blackiceWritten by Andrew Lane

This is the third book in the Sherlock Holmes: The Legend Begins series. It is full of murder and travel, and describes how Sherlock came to be “Mr. Holmes.” I got to meet Amyus Crowe, the man who is teaching Sherlock how to track, find people, and many of the other skills Sherlock is famous for in later years. Mycroft, Sherlock’s brother, is accused of murder. Then Sherlock and Mycroft join a theater group and travel to Moscow, Russia to find out what has happened to Mycroft’s friend Wormersley. There are many adventures in this third book. I must go back and read volumes 1 and 2. Good, fun read.
