Logan Wilde and his father are transplanted from Chicago to a new home in Xanadu, Montana. His father, who works for the wildlife department, some how thinks that they may find Logan’s mom here. She mysteriously deserted the family some time ago. Logan hasn’t made any friends here yet but likes the freedom he feels in this sleepy little town. His life is about to change drastically though when he finds a griffin cub under his bed that can communicate with him by telepathy! As he tries to return the youngster to his home he discovers the Menagerie, new friends, and a world that he never knew existed. Not only this but Logan becomes involved in a wild and dangerous adventure that seems to be mysteriously connected to his mother’s disappearance! This is an intriguing and captivating book full of surprise, mythical creatures, loyalty, friendship, and lots of fun!
