The Monsterator

monsteratorWritten and Illustrated by Keith Graves

When he entered a dusty costume store,
one that he hadn’t seen before
He got what he’d bargained for . . . and more.
Enter the Monsterator if you dare.
Put a coin in the slot . . . but beware!

Edgar Dreadbury finds Halloween a bore until he finds a new Halloween store with a Monsterator inside. He is transformed into a monster and loves every second of it. He growls when he finds out he cannot be unmonsterated. He soon grows fond of his freakish new features and relishes his role as a monstrous creature! The book has great illustrations and rhythm. This is a great read aloud any time of the year, but especially during Halloween. The final pages allow you to “monsterate” Edgar, mixing and matching different monsters creating countless combinations and interactive fun!
