Fiendish

fiendishWritten by Brenna Yovanoff

Fiendish was a deliciously creepy and haunting book. Brenna Yovanoff takes you into a world filled with witches, supernatural creatures and the every burning question of who walled up Clementine for ten years and why.

This book is fast paced, well written and not at all predictable, which are three things I love in a book. Brenna Yovanoff words transports you into the backwoods of Hoax County and you feel as if you are experiencing everything through Clementine’s eyes.

Clementine’s struggle to acclimate to a world that has gone on living and not everyone remembers her. It’s not that they’ve forgotten her, to them she never existed. How does a person get erased from the memory of so many? Yovanoff brilliantly paints a world where you are sucked into the life of a young woman trying to find herself, when her last memories are those of an eight year old. Finding love for the first time, and trying to save a town and county that hates you.
This book was and excellent read and I would recommend it.
