This is a fun, fun book. Marshall’s class has heard story after story about the gingerbread men. They always seem to run away. Marshall doesn’t believe this at all. In fact when his class makes gingerbread men he is ready to prove them all wrong. But when the gingerbread men are done cooking and they go to get them out of the oven, the oven is EMPTY! Where could they possibly have run to? The only clue is a note left by the G-men. This leads to a fun scavenger hunt and finding the cookies. Will Marshall become a believer?
This is a great holiday read-aloud book.
