Little Owl’s Day

littleowlsdayWritten by Divya Srinivasan

I loved Little Owl’s Day even more than Little Owl’s Night, if that is possible. With squirrel chattering way, Little Owl could sleep no more. He discovers the world is so different when the sun is out. For the first time he is able to see the petals on the flowers opened up, butterflies, dragonflies, and even a waterfall. His friend Bear has always wanted to show Little Owl a rainbow, but he was always asleep. And as night settles in, Little Owl is finally able to show Bear something he has never seen as well.

This is such a cute story and the illustrations are amazing. I love Little Owl’s big eyes that showcase his excitement of the wonders and beauty he sees all around him. This is a great companion book to Little Owl’s Night.
