The Return of Zita the Spacegirl (Zita the Spacegirl, #3)

returnofzitaBy Ben Hatke

Stripped of her possessions and sentenced by an evil Lord to a dungeon in the mines of Dungeon World for the “crimes” of saving a planet from an asteroid and keeping an entire species from being eaten by enormous cosmic bullies, Zita meets two unusual cell-mates, a pile of rags and a skeleton who likes to play “Eye spy with my little socket.” While in the dungeons, she attempts to escape, but accidentally sics the evil lord on her home planet, Earth. Will she save Earth as well as the world she’s on?

A fun, fast-paced science fiction adventure. The illustrations are colorful, detailed and easy to follow. The characters are a little under-developed, but are likable. To fully understand what’s going on readers will need to read the other books in the series first before reading this one, but fans of space adventures, science fiction, and action will enjoy reading this graphic novel.
