This was one of my favorite picture books of 2014. The kindergartners ask for it again and again.
A little penguin feels that he has the soul of an eagle and wants nothing more than to be able to fly. The teacher at the flight school includes him in the class, but doesn’t know what to do after his first attempt at flying. Of course we know great teachers do not give up on their students. This teacher is no exception and works hard to find a way to make penguin’s dreams come true. The story is fun, the pictures draw the reader in, with a bonus positive message, this is a book going in my personal collection.
