The Boy Problem

theboyproblemNotes and Observations of Tabitha Reddy

Written by Kami Kinard

This is a delightful read written in journal format. Reading The Boy Problem was like being back in junior high. I relived some of my nightmares from junior high school as I learned about Tabbi. I rejoiced with Tabbi when she was successful in her Algebra class and I could feel her pain when she discovered her zit. This is a great book about coming of age from a girl’s point of view. There is lots of humor, drama, probability (from Algebra, too), and fun. You have to watch out for Maybelline (not her real name) and James. They are out to get Tabbi. With the help of Kara and her Algebra partner, Tabbi succeeds in more than one way.
