FrozenWritten by Melissa de la Cruz and Michael Johnston

Everything is in an Ice Age, except for New Vegas, which is now an ice desert. Nat is a Blackjack dealer trying to get out and make her way to “the Blue,” a legendary city filled with food. Marked as an outsider, she has to hire a group of mercenaries, led by Wessen to get out of New Vegas. With danger around every corner, will Nat and the mercenaries make it to “the Blue?” Does “the Blue” really exist?

This action-packed novel is engaging and well-written. The characters are well-developed and easily bring the story to life. Not your typical De La Cruz novel, this science fiction adventure will delight and engross fans of not only the author, but fans of the genre who like to be kept on the edge of their seats.
