Red: A Crayon’s Story

RedBy Michael Hall

Our hero, the crayon, is in a red wrapper, but keeps coloring blue. Lots of other crayons try to encourage our hero to be red, but it isn’t working out well. Other art supplies joined in and try to make our red-wrapped crayon be red. He works hard, he accepts advice, he tries everything he can think of to be red. Then, his new friend Berry asks him to draw a blue ocean for him and everything changes. Suddenly he is a success!

It’s a fun, didactic story about accepting one’s self.
