The Afterlife Academy

The Afterlife AcademyWritten by Frank L. Cole

Twelve-year-old Walter Prairie, who has recently been struck by lightning, has died and is a Guardian Agent. He is supposed to be protecting Charlie, who has dug up a powerful book, The Summoner’s Handbook. Charlie is obsessed with the paranormal and knows he is in grave danger, especially now that he can see all the afterworld creatures around him. Every evil demon, wraith, and shade is after the handbook. Charlie contacts Wisdom Willows, afterworld expert on paranormal activity. However, Walter, Charlie and his family find themselves following Wisdom’s advice right into a trap to try to open a gate between the demon and human world.

This story is an interesting way to imagine what happens after you die. The characters are likable and socially relatable. Lots of humor and adventure! A fun read!

  1. We just had the author, Frank Cole, make a presentation to our upper-grade students. The kids loved him and are loving this book.
