Fresh (Tony Hawk Live2Skate)

Tony Hawk Live2Skate - FreshWritten by Michael A. Steel, Illustrated by Fernando Cano and Laura Rivera

This is part of a series of four skate books that will really appeal to the skate group and those with skater curiosity. I really liked the way the author incorporated responsibility, obedience to parents, and community service into this book. So, it isn’t just a bunch of “hoodlum types.” I’m finding those qualities a bit of a rare find in kids books these days, especially when they are aimed at groups like this.

In addition to the wholesome literature there are great full color illustrations! So if you are curious, jump in and find out what happens to Jack Turner as he and his friend spend the summer making skate videos and trying to uncover the mysterious identity of SK8R 88.
