Austin, Lost in America: A Geography Adventure

Austin Lost in America - A Geography AdventureBy Jef Czekaj

I found this to be a fun and interesting book. I loved the illustrations and the expressions on Austin’s face. Austin is a puppy who isn’t being adopted but would really like to be. He starts out to find his home and in doing so visits all 50 states and finds out some interesting facts about each state along the way. He is sure each stop will be his new home but it takes a while to find it. You will learn fun facts like… where is the smallest official park, where is it legal to swim with the manatees, how did the lollipop get its name, where is it legal for police officers to bite dogs, where are the annual World Champion Turtle Races held?
