This is the sequel to The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate and it was pure delight! Rarely are sequels better than the original book, but this one was absolutely delightful! Calpurnia has adventures that children can really relate to and there is always something new to learn about science. I learned so many things about everything from the Galveston hurricane of 1900 to animal care and natural phenomena, shared in a way that children can understand it and enjoy it. I see this book being checked out frequently.
