Robots in Risky Jobs

Robots in Risky JobsOn the Battlefield and Beyond

Written by Kathryn Clay

I started reading this book just to see what it was like and before I knew it, I’d read the entire thing! This book talks about the various robots being used for dangerous or difficult jobs, such as locating bombs, finding earthquake survivors, and more. I especially liked the Alphadog, which can carry 400 lbs across all terrains. If you are looking for detailed descriptions of each robot, you will need to go to another book, but this is a great starting place for children who are interested in robotics.
