Outdoor MathFun Activities for Every Season

Written by Emma AdBåge

Getting kids outside to play is a challenge these days. This book, Outdoor Math, has fun and educational activities to encourage kids to get outside during every season of the year. Splashing in puddles, measuring worms, timing snowmen melting, counting, etc. are just some of the activities for kids to engage in and interact with other children. Outdoor Math is a perfect book for learning math, teamwork, and building character. Each activity throughout the year is explained in easy terms, listing all materials needed, and the directions. This is all done in word and kid friendly illustrations. I think children in K-2nd grade will be excited to try these activities and games, and prove that math is everywhere, that math is fun!!
