Audacity Jones is a quick, fun read. The main character, Audacity, lives in a home for girls and is often bored, which leads to clever schemes. When she is chosen to go with a benefactor of the home to Washington D. C. for important work, she is faced with danger and adventure as she unravels a plot against the President, Theodore Roosevelt. The book has many historical references to President Roosevelt and his wife.
