Moonlight Brigade

moonlight-brigadeThe Wild Ones, #2

Written by C. Alexander London

A great thing about this book is that you don’t have to read the first in the series to enjoy the second one. The young raccoon Kit is living with his uncle in Ankle Snap Alley. The alley is full of rascals and thieves, but they all look out for each other. Their motto, “All of One Paw.” When mean and heartless Coyote comes with his gang and steals every bit of food from the alley, Kit must lead his friends to take back what is theirs. I suppose the story could also illustrate how important it is for a community to work together, regardless of differences, if they want to survive. But despite that, this is an exciting animal adventure that many readers will enjoy.
