The Bubonic Panic: When Plague Invaded America

bubonic-panicWritten by Gail Jarrow

Bubonic Panic is very informative. It has LOTS of information about the plague. It tells what to watch for and what carried the plague in very descriptive ways. This was not my favorite book because the plague is a little scary and the book makes the disease seem very real and possible. “Panic” is a good word for it. The pictures are very graphic. I would recommend this as a reference for a report on the plague, but not as “fun” reading.
