Friday Barnes: Under Suspicion

Written by R.A. Spratt, Illustrated by Phil Gosier

Friday Barnes sticks out at her exclusive boarding school. Her parents are not wealthy. Friday is paying her own way to attend the school, and Friday wears a brown cardigan and green hat, not the usual attire at the school. However, Friday is not the typical eleven year old. She is brilliant and a private detective. Cases seem to pop up all over the school. Why is Friday being questioned by the local police? Why are there holes all over the school grounds? Who injured the caretaker? Can Friday solve the cases or will the school have to shut down? I enjoyed the book thoroughly and can’t wait to read Book 1, Friday Barnes: Girl Detective.
