Front Lines

Written by Michael Grant

I really liked the concept of this book: women being enlisted to serve in World War II. There are three main characters in the story. Each girl has a different experience, and their stories all converge at the end of the book. I really liked the characters, and the plot moved fast enough that I wanted to keep reading. I also liked how even though it was supposed to be historical fiction with an obvious twist, it still remained relatively true to what actually happened. I think this book may have been a little intense for me, but I guess that’s what you get when you read a book about war. Overall, I really liked this book.
