Pip Bartlett’s Guide to Magical Creatures

Written by Jackson Pearce and Maggie Stiefvater, Illustrated by Maggie Stiefvater

This is a truly magical story! Pip can talk to magical creatures, though no one believes her. After a little mishap with some unicorns, Pip goes to help at her aunt’s veterinarian’s clinic. While there she helps a shy unicorn become brave, solves a Fuzzle infestation mystery, and talks to a Grim. The writing is very engaging and I even laughed out loud several times. Highly recommended. (This is the same book released in 2015 but with a new cover.)
