Tooth by Tooth

Comparing Fangs, Tusks, and Chompers

Written by Sara Levine, Illustrated by T.S. Spookytooth

If you have worked around children long, you know that they love showing you and telling you about their loose and missing teeth. I think they will also be interested in knowing how their teeth compare to the animals around us.
This book is one of those comparison books of human teeth, fangs tusks and chompers. I love how it starts with information about our own teeth, what they are named and how many we have. Then it goes on to compare our incisors to that of a herbivores who only eats plants. And what if you had some of those really long canines? Bet you can’t wait to find out!

Sara Levine is also the author of the Bone to Bone comparison book that our students really enjoy checking out and reading.

  1. You sent this out as a recommendation a while ago as I was finishing my money and I got this one. I have read it to a few classes and they are really liking it. Thanks for the recommendation!
