I really liked the idea behind this book but was a little disappointed that I did not recognize many of the authors in this collection. The essays are interesting but without being able to connect with the authors work I don’t see many students being interested in this. The essays also are a little mature for an elementary audience.

Fun cover but after reading the review I don’t think I’d get it.
Thanks for the review to make us aware. I looked this book up and most of the authors are from Australia and New Zealand. Probably not a good fit for my elementary school. But I love the cover and that wonderful “book tree!!”
