The Two Tims

Written by David Elliott, Illustrated by Gabriel Alborozo

Tim’s best friend is Tim. They do every thing together and have a great time. But then Tom comes along and plays with one of the Tims. the other Tim doesn’t know how to handle not being Tim’s only friend. But then the two Tims and Tom decided its more fun with three. I really liked the lesson this simple but fun book taught.

  1. This sounds like a great little friendship book and probably all of us, as children, found ourselves in this “3 friend” situation at one time or another. There is another book by Cece Bell about this very thing and this book would make a nice pairing to share with classes or teachers who may be dealing with this. Thanks for sharing this review.

  2. Sounds like a great book and message to share with students. It seems like all students go through the “left out” situation and this would be a good conversation starter on that topic.

  3. This is an important lesson for Elementary students. We all need to share, we even need to share friends.
