Pax– it made me want a fox.

Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer– such a quirky, fun book!

What kind of reader were you as a child? What childhood books and authors stick with you the most?

I didn’t enjoy reading very much as a child. It wasn’t until I got out of high school that I started to love to read.

What is the best book you were required to read as a student?

To Kill a Mockingbird

What book did you hate reading as a student?

I hated reading The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn as a student, but I love it now.

What is your favorite book to recommend to children?

Anything by Roald Dahl

If you could only bring three books to a desert island, which would you pack?

To Kill a Mockingbird, The Secret Garden, and Bud, Not Buddy.

    I have never heard of “Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer”. It sounds like an entertaining read. I also love the “Secret Garden”. Wonderful book choices!
